Differentiating Education

In a crowded childcare system, it pays to differentiate your facilities and curriculum and then to make sure everyone knows about it. This is what Bravo Group has done for U-GRO over the past four years. U-GRO is a daycare and preschool facility that is unlike any other in the region.

Greg Holsinger, U-GRO President & CEO says, “Choosing the right early childhood care and education program is a critical decision. At U-GRO we understand all that you have to consider and are here to provide the best resources in order to help make a decision you can feel good about.” This philosophy is applied through the everyday curriculum and unique lessons offered at U-GRO.

U-GRO looked to Bravo in 2010 to strengthen its brand and visual identity. Bravo began by designing a new logo and fresh print advertising. Then in 2012, Bravo conducted a comprehensive marketing campaign to support the launch of a new U-GRO facility opening in Hershey. The campaign featured television, radio, billboard, online advertising, and direct mail. At the conclusion of the campaign, the new center achieved near-full occupancy for the fall semester, exceeding expectations. Bravo also produced videos, including tours of the facilities, web videos and an anniversary video featured on the new website. Through all of these efforts Bravo was able to position U-GRO at the top of its market.

The main messages U-GRO has consistently conveyed are the high quality teaching staff it employs and having the largest, most modern childcare facilities in the region.

U-GRO has differentiated itself from other childcare centers by developing its own curriculum and encouraging innovation in early childhood. Through the new Like Skills program, U-GRO offers music education, fitness, leadership and Spanish language, classes you won’t likely find at most childcare facilities.

Bravo continues to offer advertising and public relations services to U-GRO as it continues to grow and expand. This includes monthly ads in Central Penn Parent magazine, evaluating other possible advertising opportunities and designing print materials, such as curriculum guides.

As a local, family-owned business, U-GRO believes in preparing all of its children for a life of service, success and continued learning.
