Believe it or not, it’s already time to start gearing up for the new school year. I know, I know—“But it feels like summer just started.” The majority of kids dread going back to school, but things don’t have to be this way. In fact, when you have everything right at your fingertips, what’s not to like?
The Commonwealth Connections Academy (CCA) is a tuition-free, k-12 public cyber school offered throughout Pennsylvania. In addition to an in-home classroom, there are seven teaching centers across the state that provides students with additional hands-on support and tutoring when needed. CCA not only focuses on what is important to make a successful student, but also a well-rounded person. This includes being involved in after school activities like clubs and sports, and participating in hands-on experiences through field trips.
With the help of Bravo Group, CCA has grown into a top tier public cyber school. Each school year, Bravo works to promote CCA’s information sessions, which allow interested families to meet CCA’s teachers and learn more about the school. Additionally, Bravo keeps a pulse on all legislative issues that surround education, charter schools and cyber charters. Through tactics such as letters to the editor, Cyber day on the Hill and having families host legislators during a typical school day, Bravo has been able to educate the PA legislature and community members about the benefits of CCA and cyber charter education options. Bravo also works to promote student stories that showcase the variety of talents and achievements of CCA’s students. From athletes training for the Olympics to a nationally recognized design competition team, CCA’s students bring unique abilities to the virtual classroom.
CCA has grown tremendously since first logging on in 2003 and provided flexible, quality education to 8,000 students just this year. With Bravo’s expertise in communications and government relations, CCA has become the premier cyber charter school in the state and continues to provide its students with a high-caliber education right at their fingertips.
