In Harrisburg, you have unlimited options for fine or casual dining, it just depends on what you are craving.

Located only a block from the capitol, Home 231 offers a seasonally focused menu featuring food and ingredients from regional farmers. The light green colors and dark wooden furniture give Home 231 a very modern look, inviting the perfect atmosphere for a formal business dinner or a night out with friends.
Their lunch menu is primarily sandwiches while their dinner menu includes a variety of entrees. The homemade doughnuts and ice cream trump any other dessert in town! Make sure to stop by for Sunday brunch and enjoy their menu lined with egg dishes, French toast, salads and sandwiches.

Carley’s Ristorante & Piano Bar

If you hear piano music and smell delicious Italian food on Locust Street, it is probably coming from Carley’s Ristorante & Piano Bar. This restaurant serves Italian dishes such as homemade pasta and pizza as well as fish, and poultry options. Their chicken and veal entrees are especially popular and can be prepared as Francese, Marsala, Picatta or Parmigiano.
 They also offer family-size or double portion dishes which are cost effective if feeding a large family or splitting a meal among friends.
A serene feeling emerges from the refurbished brick walls and candle lit tables. Bar and table seating is available as well as a patio seating in the summer months.
Proprietors Stephen and KJ Weinstock also own Stocks on Second.

Stocks on Second gracefully combines relaxation and contemporary energy with the water wall, trendy light fixtures and seating choices. With a focus on American cuisine, they offer a mix of starters, entrees, soups, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. Stocks is also the home of the first martini bar in Harrisburg. Not a martini person? No worries – they offer a huge selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages from their spacious granite bar.

Au Bon Lieu

Have you ever wanted to travel to France? Look no farther than Au Bon Lieu, a small building nestled among retail stores on North 3rdStreet. It is a small creperie with only three tables inside – enough room to see into the kitchen and watch the chefs make the crepes. Customers can choose from an assortment of fillings including (but not limited to) grilled ham, chicken, smoked salmon, vegetables, cheese. If you are in the mood for something sweeter, try the dessert crepes which are filled with chocolate, honey, peanut butter or fruit. French crepes sound expensive; however, Au Bon Lieu’s crepes range from $2.50 – $5.50, so there is no excuse not to try them!

Café Fresco’s signature orange and black color scheme showcases the metropolitan theme found in the atmosphere and cuisine. Their menu features a variety of options including, rice, noodles, meat, and fish. Be sure to explore Level 2; a venue which ties in DJ music, appetizers, cocktails and other drinks.

Venture on a Tuscan vacation when dining at Bricco as you choose from their extensive menu of Mediterranean and Italian fare. They make their own pasta and are known for the stone oven pizza. Their open kitchen fills the restaurant with delicious aromas, and the orange and yellow color scheme completes the Tuscan experience. Bricco partners with the Olewine School of Culinary Arts at Harrisburg Area Community College and Harrisburg Hotel Corporation. Chiefs-to-be have a real-life kitchen experience while working with other talented chefs.
